The Influence Of Migrant Workers' Return Home On Family Education

Since the reform and opening up,more and more rural young people are leaving their homes,from rural to urban areas,in order to improve the economic situation of the family,and to seek better development,which also brought serious left-behind children and other issues.Among them,the education of left-behind children is one of the problems of social concern and scholars' research earlier.It is generally believed that the impact of migrant workers on the education of left-behind children(including psychological quality,nutrition and health)the influence is mainly "family income effect" and "family care effect".But there are not many related research methods,because of the different research objectives and paths,the different research object and the area,the conclusion also often very different.It is an important measure to reduce the problem of left-behind children from the source,especially in recent years,by the national economic situation,employment policy and the impact of the integration of urban and rural development,migrant workers return home employment boom.The logically speaking,since the problem of left-behind children is caused by migrant workers,if the migrant workers return home on the job,the family income will not be reduced,family education function will be enhanced,family care short board will be filled,the problem of their children in education will be solved.So,whether the reality is so,how the "family income effect" and "family care effect" act on children's education,which are worthy of in-depth discussion.In this study,migrant workers and their children in Tongshan area of Lukou Street were selected as the research object.Through the employment of migrant workers,family income,education counseling and investment,their children's mental health,safety monitoring and academic achievement,explore the mechanism of "family income effect" and "family care effect" on the education of their children,and reveal the effect of migrant workers'return on their children education,provide suggestions to the local government better support the returning of migrant workers employment,to solve rural issues left-behind children.The study shows that the left-behind children are not "problem children".Migrant workers have a certain impact on the education of left-behind children,but most of left-behind children can through self-regulation,family,school and social common concern,education,counseling,better adapt to the absence of parents days.With the return of migrant workers and the improvement of family function,the "family care effect" is greater than"family income effect",but the return of parents to children is more family love,life care of other aspects is still insufficient;the return of migrant workers to the family of children's education is more emotional and psychological of positive incentives,the children's education investment can be significantly enhanced,but not directly proportional(related)to family income;migrant workers'return employment and entrepreneurial environment need to optimize,the ability to be strengthened,after returning home they can't be stable,more fluid.Therefore,the research puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of the care of the children of migrant workers and the level of employment and Entrepreneurship of migrant workers returning home.
