| Graduates employment is the focus both the whole society and academia. Campus recruitment is main way for the graduates employment. The network is main channel for them to gain job information. The rise of social networking has changed not only the way of people’s life and communication, but also the way of people’s job seeking. Social networking is becoming a new channel of job search.Meanwhile, traditional recruitment websites also integrate social elements to improve the users’ experience and interaction. This is the trend which is the supplement and improvement of the traditional network job seeking. College students are the major user groups and the the important ones who take advantages of the social networking to seek job. The social networking becomes the new channel for graduates employment.This paper aims to study graduates employment through literature, interviews and online questionnaires. There are seven dimensions about seeking job of the major social networking service:①career planning;②resume writing;③time to apply for a job;④job frequency;⑤job breadth;⑥job preparation;⑦psychological adjustment.By empirical research, we can explore whether graduates with different personal characteristics have significant differences between the behavior and the job results,as well as,their relationships in social networking service.Conclusions are reached by statistical analysis of224valid questionnaires as follows:①Hunting job by social networking service of the2013graduates in campus recruitment is obvious which is a new channel and supplement of network job.②The characteristics of graduates have significant differences both the behavior and job results in social networking service. Gender, education, professional, college, professional achievements, computer skills and English also have great differences between both.③There is a significant positive correlation between job search behavior and results of graduates in social networking service. Time to apply for a job, job frequency; job breadth, job preparation and psychological adjustment all are obvious positively correlated with job results.④Interaction, evaluation and recommendation is not obvious during the employment of social networking service. Based on all mentioned, we will analyses enterprise social networking strategy, the development of social recruitment websites, even the recommendations of government and universities responding to the social networking employment, and then we reached the conclusion. |
