The traditional geography teaching, teachers always put in the textbookknowledge ab initio at tail, lifeless, like a running account. In this case thestudents accept knowledge can only be mechanical, passive, not form asystem of knowledge, but can not grasp learning method. The spoon-feedingway of teaching will enable students to geographical lose interest in learning,students cannot learn useful knowledge, its quality is impossible.Based on this, it is necessary to conduct in-depth reform of geographyteaching. In foreign countries, some to pay attention to the development ofintelligence for the characteristics of modern teaching thoughts and schools(such as: the famous German educator Klafki to represent the " exampleteaching theory") has shown many advantages in a series of teaching practice,so the study and research at home and abroad, the modern teaching theory,will be conducive to the promotion of teaching reform in china.This paper attempts to collect, collate, analyze the junior high schoolgeography textbook examples, to implement the example teaching, tostimulate students interest in learning, to realize the theory and practice of theteaching objective; in addition, the example teaching can well reflect the newteaching material advantages and characteristics, in order to achieve theteaching objective. Example is the essence of the creation of learningenvironment, for example, it includes all aspects of some environmentalproblems, such as people encounter problems, problems, different views,different problem solving methods. Is not a simple problem that students face,but a situation, they must carry out in-depth analysis and discussion of theseconcrete, real problem situation, and to find the corresponding solution. Theprocess of education significance lies in multiple perspectives on thecultivation of students’ ability, such as the identification of useful information from the data capacity, identify various opinions, the rationality of ability ofautonomous learning consciousness and ability, discussion and ability toexpress her ideas.Any subject requires students to master the basic knowledge andlearning methods, case teaching is offered a selection of typical examples tothe students to learn, to enable students to understand the principle ofuniversality, regularity, help students master the system of geographicalknowledge, and learning knowledge of the scientific method, so as to reducethe burden of students, improve the quality of teaching. In this context, thispaper focuses on the analysis of the new textbook7-8grade geography, findall the examples in the textbook, and carries on the analysis to the function,classification, summarizing characteristics.The author hopes of textbook example of induction and summary, theknowledge, skill, ability, method, thought together, so that students not onlyestablish the man-land relationship and the concept of sustainabledevelopment, but also from the true sense of the learning method and abilityof geography. At the same time, also hope that through my research, teacherscan promote better use of geography textbook examples, to promote the newcurriculum further, improve the teaching effect. At the same time, it also helpsstudents master the lifelong development of useful geographical scientificknowledge and scientific method.
