Layered teaching appeared to solve the contradiction between the system of classteaching and students’ individual differences. As a kind of teaching organization form, layeredteaching has appeared in Western Europe and the United States in the late19th century andearly20th century, and the research and implementation in the United States is effective.Along with the advance of new curriculum reform,the demand of education for allstudents is no longer a slogan,but to put in place,and then the layered teaching role willhighlight. In fact as early as two thousand years ago Confucius has put forward the idea of"students according to their aptitude". Both on the nature meaning coincides with mine.Layered teaching not only can solve the conflict between the traditional class teaching systemand students individual difference, truly geared to the needs of all students.It Can alsostrengthen the consciousness of competition and cooperation between the students and getindividual development. And as in the traditional sense of the other, in order to enhance highschool students interest in the biological sciences, layered teaching is option.This research mainly adopted literature analysis, questionnaire survey method, interviewmethod and statistical analysis and case analysis, etc,analyze the concept of stratificationteaching and the corresponding theoretical basis. And by making questionnaire, the researchalso investigated on the application status of the layered teaching of biology in senior middleschool and did the corresponding data analysis.Through the questionnaire, collection and analysis,I found that many problems oflayering teaching in senior middle school. Schools adopt layered phenomenon less in class,butmore between the classes. And the form of walk shifts has not been implemented at all. Mostteachers know little about layered teaching and have rarely taken into account when preparinglessons. A few teachers have taken layered teaching, but adopted dominant hierarchicalteaching on students in nature, and ignored the students’ psychological factors. And in theprocess of implementing hierarchical teaching teachers cannot give students timely andeffective evaluation.According to the status quo of the hierarchical teaching of biology in senior middleschool,I put forward the corresponding solution Suggestions as follows: to strengthen thetraining of biology teachers on the layered teaching to promote biology teachers’ professional development in senior middle school; introducing large number of young teachers, in order todrive the school stratification teaching atmosphere;the implementation of the hidden layersinside the class, to make up for the hurt that the layers bring to students’ self-respect.On the basis of the investigation and analysis research, the author has carried on thelayered teaching design from the aspects of teaching goal, teaching process and evaluation forthe section of<the major source of ATP-cell respiration>. The practice of hierarchicalteaching throughout in the design received good results. At the same time the nature is hiddenlayers, in other words the basis of the hierarchical and students’ location in the hierarchy wasknown only by teachers and the students did not know. So I can take care of the students’self-esteem.
