| The senior high school Politics teaching which is affected by the traditional educationmodel has little attraction on the students. In2004, The Ordinary Senior High SchoolIdeological and Political Course Standard(Experiment) was put into practice around thecountry. The gradual application of the new course standard has quickened the step of thereform of the Politics teaching in senior high school. In order to satisfy the requirement of thenew course standard, the Politics teaching in senior high school must enhance its vividnessand meaningfulness at the same time, it should pay close attention to the formation ofstudents’ emotion, attitude and value. The cartoons are favored constantly among the youngstudents with their special features and glamour. As an intuitional teaching aid, cartoons canadd more fun to the senior high school Politics teaching.The introduction of the cartoons to the new course standard senior high school Politicsteaching not only strengthens the charming of the Politics class, but also plays an importantrole in developing the quality of students, improving their innovation capability andpromoting their healthy personality. Under the background of the new coursestandard,cartoons not only appear largely in the Politics textbook of the senior high school,but also in the paper of the college entrance examination.It’s a project deserving researchingand exploring to adapt to this tendency and give full play to the role of the cartoons in thePolitics teaching.After a broad reading and multi-analysis associating with my fifteen-yearPolitics teaching practice, I have made an elementary research and exploration about the ideaof integrating Politics teaching and cartoons. The whole essay can be divided into three parts:The first part sketches out cartoons briefly and analyses their use in the new coursestandard of senior high school Politics.Firstly, I give a simple explanation about the basicknowledge of cartoons, especially their definition and expression technique.The cartoons areclassified mainly according to the contact between the contents of the four compulsorypolitical books in senior high school and life.Then a summary is made about the distributionof the cartoons in the senior high school political textbooks and an analysis about thetendency of their change.The second part mainly focuses on the reason for which the cartoons are used in the newcourse standard of senior high school Politics teaching.Firstly, I state the necessity of the use of cartoons in the new course standard of senior high school Politics teaching. It’s analyzedbased on four aspects respectively: the need of cartoons to keep up with the development oftimes, the psychological characteristics of adolescents, the requirement of the new coursestandard theory and the requirement of the Politics examination in the college entranceexamination under the background of the new course standard. Then it’s followed by thesignificance of the application of cartoons in the new course standard of senior high schoolPolitics teaching. It’s summarized in terms of the following four aspects: stimulate students’interest and enhance the attraction of Politics teaching, pass on the profound and abstractknowledge, improve students’ quality and ability, and build up students’ optimistic attitude aswell as develop their healthy personality.The third part emphasizes the problems, strategies and methods of the cartoons in the inthe new course standard of senior high school Politics teaching. Firstly,it is a summary of thepractical problems in the use of cartoons in the new course standard of senior high schoolPolitics teaching, followed by the strategies. It’s summarized depending on the following fiveaspects:reflect openness and connect with social life closely,persist in education andconcentrate on the cultivation of students’ emotion value, base on the reality of class andconform to the teaching objectives, utilize comprehensively to avoid monotone, and analyzedialectically and apply moderately. Then come the use methods of cartoons in the new coursestandard of senior high school Politics teaching which include the methods of the senior highschool Politics teaching, the solution to Politics paper in the college entrance examination andthe development in the senior high school Politics textbook. |
