The main purpose of this study was to research the relationship between the students’ academic performance and the level of target management and time management by comparing thedifferent academic achievements of middle school and high school students before and after learning how to use the method of target management and time management. Based on the result of research, the significance and role, to the academic performance of high school students, of the target management time management were analyzed and discussed; the method of how to improve academic performance of middle school and high school students by using the method of target management time management was explored; the suggestions and strategies for teachers about how to teach students to use the target management and time management were given.In order to knowthe research progress and resultsonthe use of target management and time management in teacher education, the researches results of the domestic and the foreign professorsin this field were collected, analysised and reviewed in the beginning of this research. In this study, questionnaires were mainly used to test the changes of middle school and high school students’ level of the target management and time management before and after learning methods of target management and time management.The academic performance of these students, which is one of the main references in the research, were collected and analysised by SPSS software.In the course of the study, the observation is additionally used to to observe high school students’ changes in non-intelligence factors, such as learning interest, attitude and self-awareness.The paper introduces the concepts and methods of the target management and time management to the day-to-day teaching; an academic basis of improving academic performance by the methods of the target management and time management is provided; the specific referenct and help of high school students learning the target management and time management are provided.
