The higher vocational education is an important part of China’s higher education system, which bear the burden of training production line services application technology talents systemic. The higher vocational colleges need to have a high level and high quality management team to complete the social mission in the increasingly fierce competition. Performance evaluation is the main method to study the management team work ability and management level. It has an important and far-reaching significance to stimulate the work enthusiasm, improve work efficiency, improve the efficiency and promote the development of schools.Because of insufficient itself and work content of management team in higher vocational colleges, resulting in the performance evaluation work more difficult. This paper takes JZ career technical college as an example, through the analysis of the current management team evaluation system, find out the main problems, and aimed at these questions to build management team performance evaluation index system. The two parts include the management department and managers. In this paper, designing the evaluation index system and weight of management department from four aspects, which including the service object and so on. Make "morals, ability, diligence, performance and probity" these five elements as the first grade indexes, constructs the management department evaluation index system and weight by360degrees all-around appraisal method, and gives the calculation method of performance appraisal results. To ensure the evaluation index system is comprehensive, scientific and practical.Finally, it puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures to implement and improve the performance evaluation. It helps to ensure that the results of performance evaluation and its application more real, credible, scientific, effective. Thus it has the incentive function for managers, achieving the aim of improving the management team’s overall performance, and promoting college’s strategic objectives, also providing some enlightenment and help for the implementation of the reform of new performance management in higher vocational colleges.
