| Along with the continual development of international Chinese language education, it enjoys growing popularity in different nations around world. Because of various language and education policies in different countries, teaching Chinese abroad is gradually characterized by "localization". It is the characteristic that make us know what the true situation of international promotion of Chinese language in specific countries; and let us know what are advantages and disadvantages in spreading process. All of these could lead us to review and improve the situations of Chinese education and promotion abroad. The thesis survey and research Chinese education of public middle schools and high schools in Thailand from perspective of "localization"Based on the experience of teaching Chinese in Srikranuanwittayakom School of Thailand, author collect massive information by questionnaire and talking method from many Chinese teachers in Thailand, and research many works and papers to enhance the main contents of the thesis. To show the comprehensive status of Chinese teaching of secondary education in Thailand, author write the thesis from following aspects:teaching materials, teachers, teaching methods and teaching management.The article divided into four chapters:The introduction section said about background of subject and researching purpose,meanings and methods. The second section shows current situation of secondary education in Thailand, including the history, current policies and education system. The third part discuss the problems of Chinese education in secondary schools from the angle of teaching materials, teachers, teaching methods and teaching management. In the end of Chapter four, author propose the solutions and advices for these problems. The last part make a conclusion for the thesis. |
