Research On Jiangxi Province Industrial Structure Adjustment

Although our country has been in a market-oriented economy. But as Jiangxi speaking,late starting, slow development speed and the regional particularity of the local industry madethe current market immature. Facts prove that only taking market’s regulation mechanism toadjust industry structure according to the national requirements would take quite a number ofeconomic resources and human resources. And they do not achieve the ideal effect.The second industry of Jiangxi province which had been its pillar industry developedrapidly since the reform and opening up, and played a good role in promoting local economicdevelopment. But this advantage became the disadvantage for structure adjustment. Thispaper use theoretical analysis and empirical analysis method both to study in depth. What’sthe industrial structure of Jiangxi province; How to balance the three big industry to promotethe degree of economic development greatest; What are the influenced factors; How abouttheir effect. And hope to give the answers to the questions above.This article introduces the research status of the adjustment of industrial structure athome and abroad at first, summaries the theories. Briefly explains the domestic scholars’research results to Jiangxi province industrial structure. And then analysis the Jiangxiindustrial structure on both whole and internal to find the shortcomings. The next selectiontakes empirical analysis Jiangxi province and other nine provinces in region of the central andeastern together. In the empirical analysis. First is the building of the adjustment of industrialstructure evaluation system. Using the factor analysis method to determine the provincetotal score provinces，determines the index from the four aspects of influence, constructs thepanel data model to estimation the panel data of the nine provinces from2000to2009toconfirm the influence factors and its influence to industrial structure optimization. Finally,puts forward the corresponding opinion according to the empirical results in the adjustment ofindustrial structure in Jiangxi province.This article selects the Jiangxi province as the research object, take other nineeast-central provinces to constitute the samples. Find out the industrial structure adjustmentfactors through the analysis of the history data. Therefore this paper combining with theempirical results above proposed the feasible suggestions from four aspects: expand introduceforeign investment; develop industry professional investment promotion; transfer thedominant industry to tourism industry; promote new industry development.
