A Research On Shaanxi Province Industrial Structure And Environment Coordinate Relationship

Rapidly economic development will bring some negative effects later on. Industrialstructure, as a fundamental part of national economy, together with environmentalcapacity and resource utilization, is an interacted unity which influences each other. Asan environment-friendly society today, environmental problem has been placed in themost prominent position among human activities all the time. Because of limitedenvironment’s self-cleaning capability, people start to regulate industrial structure to getbigger environmental capacity. Therefore, we should reduce ecological damage andguaranty the economic benefit by seeking the harmony and sustainability of economicdevelopment and ecological environment at the same time. So the importance ofindustrial structure and coordinated environment development lies in thrivingsustainable industrial development at a minimum environmental cost. And then how toarrange and balance the industrial structure harmonious development and environmentalcapacity is a meaningful and important subject to be explored and research in this paper.Based on the relevant literature, this paper firstly selects the "Tenth Five" and"Eleventh Five" as time period to analyze industrial structure and environment situationin Shaanxi Province. This paper compared the internal structure changes andenvironment status of three industrial structures in Shaanxi province from2005to2010,and further analyzes the problems of Shaanxi Province industrial structure andenvironment development. Then this paper designed a scientific and rational industrialstructure and environment development coordination evaluation index system, totallyselected16individual indicators in two categories. This paper used principal componentanalysis method to calculate Shaanxi province industrial structure and environmentdevelopment comprehensive index from2002to2010. Coordination degree mathematical model is used to calculate Shaanxi Provinceindustrial structure and environment development coordination degree from2002to2010. Based on the analysis, this paper finally finds that Shaanxi Province industrialstructure and environment coordination degree from2002to2010is becoming moreand more harmony. Finally a number of policy recommendations for Shaanxi provinceindustrial restructuring and environmental protection are designed to provide somereference.
