The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that "high-quality development is the primary task of comprehensively building a modern country," and the inevitable requirement for high-quality economic development is the upgrading of industrial structure.The development of logistics industry and the three major industries are interdependent.On the one hand,logistics connects the three major industries,and the development of logistics industry will promote the adjustment between industries,and promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure.On the other hand,the upgrading of the industrial structure will stimulate the increase in demand for logistics and drive the improvement of logistics service levels.In order to further analyze the mechanism of action between the logistics industry and the upgrading of the industrial structure,this paper uses the method of coupling analysis to establish a coupling coordination evaluation model for the two systems of logistics industry and industrial structure upgrading,calculate the coupling coordination degree,and analyze its influencing factors,which has practical guiding significance for promoting the coordinated development of logistics industry and industrial structure upgrading and promoting China’s high-quality development.Coupling coordination as an important indicator for measuring the level of coupling coordination can directly reflect the current situation of the coordinated development of logistics industry and industrial structure upgrading.Therefore,this paper establishes an index system by selecting 8 primary indicators and 17 secondary indicators,and constructs a coupling coordination model to measure the coordination degree of logistics industry and industrial structure upgrading in each province from 2011 to 2020.Based on the spatial econometric model,we studied the factors affecting the level of coordinated development of logistics industry and industrial structure upgrading in 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020,as well as the spatial effects,and finally drew conclusions and made recommendations.The study found that:(1)From the overall evaluation results of the coupling coordination level of various provinces and cities in the country,the level of coordinated development of logistics industry and industrial structure upgrading is relatively low,transitioning from mild imbalance to barely coordinated stage.(2)Looking at the seven major regions,the eastern region has the highest level of coupling coordination,showing a decreasing trend of coordination level from east to west.(3)Judging from the factors affecting the level of coupling coordination,each influencing factor has a significant spatial spillover effect on the level of coupling coordination development.Among them,from the direct effect,investment in fixed assets has a positive role in promoting the level of coupled and coordinated development,and the level of traffic development has an inhibitory effect on the level of coordinated development.From the indirect effect,the degree of openness has a positive effect on the level of coupled and coordinated development,and the level of traffic development also has an inhibitory effect on the level of coordinated development.
