Because of these, the development of rural family inns of the minorities regions are also restricted. At the same time, due to the minority people’s lower literacy levels and business operators’lack of study of advanced managing models, the rural family inns of minorities regions develop slowly.Mengtun stockade village, as a Zhang nationality sightseeing place nearest to Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan province, its natural and humanistic resources qualify it as a place to develop tourism. Besides, it can further propagandize the tourism resources of Mengtun stockade village and its Zang nationality culture.In the Southwest minorities regions of China, there are a variety of unwell-known small villages with rich natural and humanistic resources just like Mengtun stockade village. There are not quite far away from the big cities, and has its unique landscapes and ethnic customs and cultures. However, the propaganda and development of these villages are all in the early stages, and possesses a great potential to develop tourism. Moreover, on the basis of the introduction of Mengtun stockade village, the status quo and problems of its family inns, this paper tries to analyze its current managing models and point out its characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. Meanwhile, the paper tries to adapt these managing models to the rural family inns of Mengtun stockade village and analyze their merits and demerits respectively, and eventually, it raises a managing model which is suitable for the development of rural family inns of Mengtun stockade village at present, hoping it will be further popularized in other rural family inns in Southwest minorities regions of China.
