Private Enterprises is of great importance to our national economy. Tracing back to the past 30 years since reforming and opening, privately owned businesses have made significant achievement. However, the human resources management of privately owned businesses still exist plenty of nonstandard and unscientific operation which is preventing our privately owned businesses from further development and growth.Compensation management, which is one of the important part of Human Resources Management, has the most critical and fundamental effect on motivation system. As one of subsystem of Human Resource Management, compensation system communicates what the company values most to the employees and standardizes the policies and regulations on how to pay to employees. The compensation system is directly related to the degree of employees’motivation and organization’s stabilization. Therefore, how to design and establish a scientific and practical compensation system is the critical problem for privately owned businesses.The thesis is based on the TL enterprise the author worked in. As an electromechanical engineering enterprise, TL has gone through the difficult of initiating time from 2001 until now, and steps into growth period. Like most privately owned companies, the compensation system of TL also exists many problem. The old system has not adapted the development of company and needs of employees. Only when TL establish a scientific and adaptable compensation system to eliminate the sense of unfairness and improve the satisfaction of employees, can the employees’innovation and commitment will be motivated, and the solid foundation for the further development will be set up. The author made deep study and analysis on the compensation system of TL, and found the existed problems and defects. After carefully studied large mount of literatures, the author designs a more adaptable and scientific compensation system in order to make TL grow quickly and strongly.The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part discusses the basic theories of compensation system including the concept, composition and significance, as well as the latest development and research on it domestic and oversea. The second part introduces the old compensation system of TL, and points out its problems and defects. Based on the research of former two parts and in accordance with the practical needs, the author designs a new compensation system for TL in the third part. In the forth part, the author makes some studies on feasibility of the new system and points out its defects and needed measures in practical operation.
