With the economic development of China, the pace of the adjustment of industrial structure is becoming faster and faster all over the country. Many old enterprises stop the product and move away from the city centre, the industrial heritage which recorded the track of the city development left. Faced with these industrial heritages, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and other cities, which start the campaign of shrinking the second industry and accelerating the third industry, are starting industrial heritage tourism through the creative industries and city parks. But these cities face the stress and challenge of industrial heritage tourism developing because of the traditional tourism image. This paper take case of Hangzhou, study the industrial heritage of the traditional tourism cities.The paper uses the theory of image masking and recreation space as well as perception conclusion to analyze the problem of the industry heritage tourism in the traditional tourism cities and give the countermeasure with the perception of the tourists. The paper is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, which summary the relevant conceptions such as industry heritage, industry heritage tourism and traditional tourism cities. And analyze the value, the characteristics and the using mode of the industry heritage as well as the characteristics of the traditional tourism cities. The second part is the summary of the study both at home and abroad. Summary the research progress of urban industrial heritage tourism, especially the study referring to the industrial heritage tourism in the traditional tourism cities and the findings of the tourists’perception. The third part gives the instruction of the theory and method of the study, and analyses the resources conditions and the preponderance of Hangzhou’s industrial heritage tourism as the case. The forth part is the core of the paper, which draw the conclusion that industrial heritage tourism is in the cover of the traditional tourism image through the analysis of the image, awareness, and attract of industrial heritage tourism as well as the conclusion of the tourists’perception factors in the traditional tourism cities through the factorial analysis and the regression analysis. In the fifth part, according to the conclusion of the data analysis, we give the countermeasure of in the aspect of the image position, heritage features, choice of target market and space distribution of the industrial heritage tourism in the traditional tourism cities. The last part summary the whole paper and pointed out the innovation and weaknesses of the study.
