Research On The Simulation And Optimization Of Garment Distribution Based On System Dynamics

With the improvement of socio-economic level,the growth of population andchanges in consumer attitudes,Human demand for clothing is also growing.Clothinghas some features as complex category,seasonal,and rapid new updating. The garmentindustry has a very high demand for distribution. The logistics efficiency level has avery large impact on the operation and development of garment enterprises.China’sgarment distribution is unable to adapt to the needs of market, cannot respond well tothe changing marcket.These will easily lead to an unstable supply andsales.Therefore,the optimization and improvement of the garment distribution systemis very important to ensure the prompt supply,reduction of overstock,improvement ofinventory turns,reduction of cost.Based on the theory of system dynamics,aiming at the characteristic of lowefficiency of distribution,huge overstock,low level of specialization,low level oflogistics informationalization,high cost in the garment distribution,this paper foundthe system dynamics model of the garment distribution system,then used the model toactual case,and done some simulation experiments to improv the model.First,this paper summarized and analyse the current situation of the garmentdistribution and system dynamics.On the basis, it defined the background,significance,the chief contents and methods of the study.Chapter two present the related theoryabout the garment distribution and system dynamics and analyzed the feasibility ofstudying the garment distribution with system dynamics.Chapter three described thedistribution mode and the shortcomings of typical garment enterprises inChina,compared with that of abroad.Chapter four defined the borders andhypothesis,analyzed the logic relationship of the system,then established the thesystem dynamics model of the typical garment distribution system and related equations through VENSIM PLE.On the basis of the above,chapter five took CZgarment enterprise in Changchun City as an example,applied VENSIM PLE tosimulate and optimize the performance of CZ garment enterprise,and then make somesuggestions for the improvement of the distribution of garment enterprises accordingto experimental results.Finally, this paper summarized the research finds andinnovation points, presented some shortcomings,and put forward the direction andemphasis for future research.
