Research On The E-service Platform Of The Textile And Garment Industry Reverse Logistics

In recent years, the textile and garment industry faces some challenges in the process ofdevelopment, such as the rise in prices of raw materials, the gap of high quality raw materials,the great consumption of resources and energy and the destruction of the environment, whichrestrict the healthy development of the textile and garment industry. Reverse logistics can play anactive role in developing new profit sources, easing the shortage of resources and improving theenvironment. Gradually, our government, the enterprises and the public are paying moreattention to its superior efficacy.Reverse logistics involves many processes such as the callback of the relevant products, thedisassembly of the relevant products, the remanufacturing of the relevant products and thedistribution of the relevant products. In the process, many enterprises are involved. Theinformation of logistics scattered in different enterprises, or in the different functions of the sameenterprise, so the information on reverse logistics have characteristics of wide, variety, highlyinformative and dynamic. Among the Chinese textile and garment enterprises, small and mediumenterprises are very much. Most of them can’t afford the cost of implementing reverse logistics.And the textile and garment enterprises are in low level of information, so it’s difficult forenterprises to statistic the waste textiles data, to publish the waste textiles data, to process thewaste textiles data and to share the waste textiles data. Research shows that the study on thereverse logistics of textile and garment industry is few currently. The study on reverse logisticse-service platform of the textile and garment industry has not been found. Therefore, on the basisof reverse logistics of the textile and garment industry, the study on e-services platform forreverse logistics will be conducted. It provides an integrated service platform for theimplementation of the textile and garment industry’s reverse logistics.The main research contents of the thesis are as follows:Firstly，based on the study on the definition of reverse logistics proposed by organizationsor individuals at home and abroad, the thesis analyzes the reverse logistics from the object, thesource, the destination, the purpose and the activities of reverse logistics, and the definition ofreverse logistics is new proposed.Secondly, the concept of the textile and garment industry reverse logistics is proposed. Based on the analysis of reverse logistics, combined with the characteristics of the textile andgarment industry, the concept of the textile and garment industry reverse logistics is defined.Thirdly, the thesis puts forward a new reverse logistics business model, which meets thedevelopment status of the textile and garment industry. By studying on the development status ofthe textile and garment industry, based on analyzing the existed business model of the reverselogistics, a new reverse logistics business model in line with textile and garment industrydevelopment status is proposed, it’s named allied business model based on e-service platform.And then the information flows in the allied business model are analyzed.At last, for the proposed allied business model of reverse logistics, an e-service platform isdesigned and realized. Based on the detailed analysis of the needs and the business process of theplatform, the technology architecture of the platform is put forward, the modules and the maindata tables are described in detail, and the main functions are implemented.
