With the acceleration of the economic globalization process, the private manufacturing enterprises of our country have been developing rapidly. To comply the complicated and changing economic environment, the private manufacturing enterprises in China are facing pressure to transforming and upgrading. The survival and development stress of the corporate workers reaches an extent that was never seen before. The stress has high impact on their physiological and psychological conditions, and behavior. The mishandling of stress would not only have strong impact on the individual workers, but also have a negative effect on efficiency of the enterprises and on social welfare. Therefore, the stress management has become a hot topic of both academic circles and business circles.The objects of the study in this thesis were the workers of a private manufacturing enterprise, A company. By literature search, questionnaires, interviews and comparison analysis, the thesis analyzed the characters of the workers in the company and the origins of the stress, and discussed current problems in the company.Based on the theories of the stress management and the organization management, by analyzing the surveys, the author discovered the three origins of the stress, work, life and society and proposed countermeasures to deal with the stress accordingly.This thesis draws the following conclusions:There are three levels of the stress management strategy. On the personal level, the workers should maintain a healthy life style and efficient self-management. On the enterprise level, enterprises should improve macro-environment and human resource management. On the society level, the community should improve relevant laws and regulations and provide necessary mental health services.
