Research On Mechanisms Of County Cluster Social Network And Technology Knowledge Diffusion:

Today, in the wave of global economy, if a country wants to achieve competitive advantage, can’t rely solely on their global enterprises. More importantly, they should also rely on SME clusters which deeply rooted in the local social network. Cultural embeddedness is one of the distinctive characteristics about SME clusters. And. local social network which comes from cultural embeddedness, has an important influence in the organizational learning of enterprises within the cluster (Wei,Ye,2001).On the basis of relevant literature research, We build theoretical model for social network, absorptive capacity and knowledge diffusion, to examine the way social network to explain knowledge diffusion, and the way absorptive capacity plays intermediary role. In this paper, we used questionnaire to survey, and finally got 97 valid questionnaires. Factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to verify the theoretical model and assumptions. Eventually, the following conclusions has been obtained.(1) Social network structure (network centrality & network scale) has a positive impact on the diffusion of technical knowledge.(2) Social network relationships (relationship strength, trust, information sharing) has a positive impact on the diffusion of technical knowledge.(3) Social network structure (network centrality & network scale) has a positive impact on knowledge absorptive capacity.(4) Social network relationships (relationship strength, trust, information sharing) has a positive impact on knowledge absorptive capacity.(5) Knowledge absorptive capacity has a positive impact on technical knowledge diffusion.(6) Knowledge absorptive capacity plays an intermediary role in the process when social network influence technical knowledge diffusion.This paper would provide theoretical support for the introduction and spread of advanced technical knowledge in Shangli area. When introduce and diffuse advanced technical knowledge, Shangli need to focus on the interlinkages between enterprises in the cluster. What’s more, Shangli should regulate the mode of competition and cooperation and improve the degree of mutual trust between enterprises in the area.
