| With the further integration of the world economy, the international division of labor is more and more obvious, customer demand become more and more personalized and diversification. The enterprise R&D organizations are facing unprecedented challenges. The domestic enterprises has several issues as below:New product R&D process is not perfect, New product R&D organization structure is unreasonable, organization responsibility and power distribution is not clear and the performance management is not good and the product with the quality problems. How to setup a set of organization and procedures which can match the enterprise management mode is the main problem.Based on the background above, at first, this paper analyzes the status of elevator industry trends and the company’s new product R&D project management, put forward the main topic of this paper-The S company’s management level of new product project R&D has been unable to meet the growing need of the customer, On the condition that the OTIS Group strategically introduce the PDP process as its elevator R&D standard process, but S elevator company organizational structure and R&D HR management has not match the process yet. So this paper is focus on solving the top urgent problem-Organization coordination problems and the project quality issues. Firstly, by comparing the functional organization, project organization and matrix organization, select IPD strong matrix organizational model as R&D organizational structure, then update the performance appraisal and training system to match PDP process. Based on good process and organization, solve the R&D quality management issue. By fully comparing the ACE quality management system of S company and TQM quality system with project lifecycle, further verify the necessity of the integration of ACE and TQM for dealing with quality issue. This paper will follow the path:Raise a problem-Analysis the problem-Solve the problem. The main task include:(1) Question S company’s new product R&D management problems.(2) Set up IPD cross-functional R&D organization based on PDP process, make the duties of R&D members clear, and then establish the responsibility and rights map; according the employee satisfaction survey, combined with the characteristics of the R&D performance management to improve the incentives for R&D staff.(3) S company quality management system ACE combined with TQM theories, solve R&D quality problems from four aspects.(4) Conclusions and recommendations, define the limitations and the scope of this paper. |
