As we entering the21st century, a new industry which is based on software and information technology is emerging across the world. As a result, some Fortune500and quite a lot of Japanese and Korean companies have been set up their outsourcing operations centers in Dalian. With the intense business competition, talent attrition is more and more severe. Therefore, it’s the top priority for all the companies to consider the external market &internal human resources situation to develop an implemental human resources strategy to meet business target.Talent attrition is an important topic of human resources management. There are four parts of this essay including Introduction, Case Description, Case Analysis and Conclusions and Suggestions. The first part is Introduction, focusing on the research purpose, implication as well as the thinking process and methodology. It points out that the improvement on compensation, motivation and organizational culture will be the key aspects to address talent attrition and employee motivation. The second part is Case Description, further elaborating the real case of Department ON. The third part is Case Analysis, analyzing the improvement needs of this organization on performance evaluation, motivation, communication system as well as the negative impact to talent retention. The fourth part is Conclusions and Suggestions, focusing on how to solve the issue by implementing effective performance evaluation, developing motivation and communication system as well as building diversified organizational culture.Based on the related theory human resources management, the author drills down the root causes and the impact of people attrition via the real case she’s experiencing in Department ON of company IMC. Based on the theory study of compensation management, employee motivation, organizational culture and communication as well as the analysis on the case, the solution proposals are identified. It also provides a reference for other outsourcing companies.
