China has obtained considerable progress in economic development for the pastthirty years of reform and opening up. However, it presents an appearance of someproblems which involve unprecedented energy demand and consumption, exhaustion ofnatural resources and severe environment pollution, etc. The energy structure appears tobe coal-dominated in China which leads to large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions,and it is highlight to seek new renewable and clean energy to solve the problems aboutenergy-saving and emission-reduction in our country. Therefore, biomass energy hasbecome one of the most important way of utilization to work on the national energystrategy around the world.The yield of crop straw of China is top of the world. On the one hand, the effectiveutilization of crop straw is more conducive to realizing the efficient utilization andperiodic duty of matter energy in Agro-ecosystems, ensuring its own productioncapacity and competence for added value, transforming agricultural development mode,etc. On the other hand, the effective utilization of crop straw can increase farmers’income, improve the ecological environment in rural, and achieve sustainabledevelopment in modern agricultural economy. As an important component of biomassenergy, the resource of crop straw especially in hilly regions is difficult to collect owingto the geographical position in our country. How to utilize crop straw effectively in hillyregions, which has respect to resolve the issues concerning agriculture, countryside andfarmers, drive and at the high plane of socioeconomic sustainable development.There is a great deal of literature on the characteristic of crop straw in hilly regions,correlation theory and example of energy utilization, etc. This paper constructs an indexsystem for evaluating energy utilization of crop straw preliminarily, uses Grey Systemsto predict the yield of crop straw in hilly regions and Analytic hierarchy process toreach the optimal conclusion, so as to explore the best path which applies to energyutilization of crop straw in hilly regions.The result of study is obtained by Xianning city through empirical analysis,verification and application. Conclusions of this paper were drawn in the study asfollows: First, the yield of crop straw is1361.9thousand tons, among all of the cropstraw, rice straw, corn straw, bagasse and corn straw, accounting for89.7percent inXianning. In2010, the country launched a nationwide action for the stable increase ingrain production, so it is considered that the yield of crop straw would still increaseevery year while the area planted to grain and crop yield be authorized in a long time.Second, Xianning’s crop straw resources feature uneven distribution, so that theresource density of crop straw in different regions is widely different. The averagedensity of crop straw is566.11t/km2in Xianning city, and Jiayu which is a downcountry, whose resource density is far higher than other regions. Third, based on thegrey system, it is possible to predict the total yield of crop straw of Xianning which accounts for1372100tons,1379564tons,1387084tons,1394645tons,1402248tonsrespectively from2011to2015. Fourth, according to the analytic hierarchy process byanalyzing and calculating, the best way of energy utilization of crop straw in hillyregion we can get is developing biogas, then straw gasification and gas centralizedsupply and straw power generation, and after them is straw solidify.Rural household biogas construction and microorganisms of fermentationengineering are the key programs to develop and improve energy utilization of cropstraw in hilly region. Meanwhile, the construction of straw gasification and gascentralized supply, straw power generation and straw solidify should be developed in amoderate scale. Finally, there will form eco-circulation system based on rural householdbiogas construction, which benefits to reduce exhausted air quantity from crop straw,accelerate straw returning to the field and promote the sustainable development capacityof agriculture. |
