The Application Study Of Lean Production In SF Company

The global financial crisis from2007to2009affects economic stability and development around the world. There is a sharp deterioration in all or most of the financial indicators. SF Company as an automotive friction plates and industrial friction material manufacturing enterprise is also affected seriously. And the market’s requirements in terms of cost, product or service, quality, delivery, flexibility is getting higher and higher in recent years. Therefore market pressure of SF Company is increasing.The purpose of the enterprise is maximum benefits, and lean production theory is able to achieve this purpose. The success of TPS in Toyota can prove that the lean production is very important to a company’s development. Therefore SF Company decides to implement lean production.This paper analyzes the outside and inside problems of SF Company, reveals the necessity and feasibility of implementation of lean production in SF Company. Then choosing typical products as the study objects and drawing their VSM, setting up Lighthouses as a sign of willingness to change. The application of f Cell Production, Gemba Kaizen,"one stream" and line balance,5S management, TQM in SF Company solve the problem in line imbalance, inventory, process, and5S. The studies in this paper have a very good reference value for the related business and certain theoretical and methodological guidance function.
