The purposes of IT governance are avoiding IT risks and increasing ITbenefits, to achieve the integration of IT goals with organizational businessobjectives.(2) Mainly around the aspects of origin and development, core content, basicprinciples, advantages and shortcomings aspect, carried out a detailed introduction tothe eight kinds of IT governance tools. The eight kinds of IT governance tool areCISR, COBIT, PRINCE2, IT-CMM, ITIL, IT-BSC, ISO17799, and ISO38500.Then, from four aspects of basic situation, content range, focus, features andshortcomings,comparative analysis these eight kinds of IT governance tools. Amongthem, the basic situation aspects include the release time, publishing agencies andapplication field; range of content aspects include governance idea, content and core;focus aspects include purpose, focus and role.(3) Based on work content system and work flow of IT governance, build aarchitecture of IT governance, which response to the whole process of IT governance.Combing the comparison and analysis of IT governance tools, given tools or methodsto achieve each part of the architecture. At the same time, given the optimizationideas of the architecture in the actual implementation。（4）Case study two parts of the architecture，that are judgment of the level of ITgovernance and design the IT governance decision-making mode.
