The cassava quantity of Guangxi ranks first in the national.With the increasing applications of the cassava, especially the using of it to produce fuel alcohol, it will have wide development space. From the world trade data about cassava and its related products, we can see that the world demands for cassava in constant growth and China’s demand for them accounted for the main part of the world. The cassava industry plays a more and more important role in increasing farmers’income and the economic development in Guangxi along with the continuous development of it. How to give full play to Guangxi"s advantages in resources, and convert it into market advantages is an issue that worth studying.Taking the theory of factor endowments, agricultural location theory, the unbalanced development theory as the industry development theory basis, the industrial development of the influence factors is discussed in this paper. The article, based on analysis of production, sales, and its processing status of the cassava industry in Guangxi, takes the cassava machinery power, fertilizer use (net amount), the labor force, the price of cassava production factor for empirical study, and then comes to the result about the influence of every factor. At the same time, the paper analyses the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges in the process of development of cassava industry in Guangxi, and determines the development goal, and puts forward development way of product standardization, industrialization management, market internationalization, Cultivated refinement etc. In order to achieve the goals, it proposes policy, research, personnel, information, and other security measures at last. |
