Study On The Development Strategy Of Nansha Port Area Of Foreign Trade Container

Guangzhou Nansha port area, for short the Nansha harbor, is the main port of Guangzhouharbor in the future development. At the same time, as the main component of the" south"strategy of Guangzhou city, Nansha port has become a important support for Guangzhou torealize industrial, logistics, transportation development strategy.In recent years, the number of ports in the Pearl River Delta increased dramatically,making the port around more competitive, and how to plan a strategic vision to thedevelopment of the port has drawn people increasing attention. In this paper, Nansha Port asthe main strategy, from the port manager’s point of view, use qualitative and quantitativemethods to explore the Nansha container trade development strategy, hoping to plays somepart for the development strategies of Nansha port.First, this paper describes the development of Guangzhou port and Guangzhou Nanshadevelopment process of the container trade, and analyzed the main strengths and weaknessesof Nansha port in the development of foreign trade containers; Secondly, this paper alsoanalyzes the development of Nansha port container trade macroeconomic environment by usethe PEST model, and the Nansha development of foreign trade container industry environmentby using the Life Cycle Method, Porter’s five forces model;After that, this Paper use of IFE,EFE and IE matrix analysis method to determine the development of Nansha port containertrade ideas, then use of SWOT analysis matrix, strategic selection tools QSPM matrix toproposed the development of Nansha Port container trade strategy, through the gray-regression model to predict the foreign trade container of Nansha port,and then put forwardthe target of Nansha development strategy; Finally, To achieve the goals of Nansha portcontainer trade, this paper presents the corresponding counter measures and suggestions.Last,for protect the effect of implementing the strategy,this paper attempts to use the BalancedScorecard to choose performance index, establish performance evaluation and monitoringsystem to protect the Nansha development strategy of foreign trade containers implementation.
