The Integration Basis Of Industrialization And Informatialization And Empirical Analysis In Hunan

Hunan, currently the test site of the construction of "two-oriented society", is animportant agricultural province with great population of China. Ever since thereformation and opening, Hunan enjoyed a vigorous and rapid development in botheconomic and social society and is now accelerating the pace of industrialrestructuring. Thus, in order to further promote the economical and socialdevelopment and better build the "two-oriented society", it is of great importance tofigure out how to apply the information technology to stimulate the development ofindustrialization in Hunan. To explore the level of industrialization andinformationization and to search for the intrinsic mechanism, the types and the pathsof the reconciliation of the two, the article conducts a series of research on followingaspects:(1)By reviewing and classifying the definition of the industrialization andinformatization, this article discussed the meaning of the reconciliation ofindustrialization and informatization from three aspects: product, industry and themode of production. It also brought the comparative advantage theory,late-developing advantage theory, binary structure theory, into the system of thereconciliation of industrialization and informatization, which built the theoreticalbasis for it and paves the way for the empirical analysis in the following two chapters.(2)This article measured the level of industrialization and informationization inHunan Province. In general, from2005to2009, the industrialization processadvanced in every city, implying that Hunan has achieved remarkable results inspeeding up the pace of industrialization during the recent five years. However, theoverall pace of industrialization is still slow and unharmonious and the level ofindustrialization differs from regions to regions. As time past by, though the overalllevel of informatization in Hunan is improving slowly, some other regions presents adecrease or fluctuating upward trend in some years. The levels of informatization indifferent regions are significantly unbalanced.(3)This article, on the basis of the previous research, has built a satisfyingscientific assessment system, which has comprehensively considered the factors ofmacroeconomic environment, innovation ability of science and technology, thedevelopment of telecommunication industry, the level of Internet application, and the capability of sustainable development and so on. Finally, this article makes evaluationand the comparative analysis on the environment of reconciliation of theindustrialization and informationization in Hunan province. In general, theenvironments of reconciliation in most cities are still unsatisfying except for“Changzhutan” urban agglomeration and the level of environmental development issharply unbalanced, which prevent the coordinate development between differentregions.
