Research On Assessment On Intensive Use Of Industrial Land Based On PSR Model In Jintan,Jiangsu Province

At present, our country has being stepped into a stage of new path of industrialization and a process of acceleration urbanization. With it comes the growing size of the urban population and the increasing demand for construction land and it makes contradictions of urban land use more serious. On condition that land resource is in short supply and urban outward expansion is obstructed, the healthy and sustainable development of industrialization and urbanization largely depends on intensive and efficient utilization of existing urban land resource. Industrial land is not only the main type of construction land, but also an important part of urban land. In China, Industrial land accounts for a rather large proportion of construction land and is lying idle and wasted, which brings about inefficient use of industrial land, and at the same time tightens the situation of land supply-demand.Therefore, in the context of scarcity of land resources, the new thoughts in using the limited land resource should be developed. According to the evaluation of intensive utilization of urban industrial land, quantitative management indicators of intensive land use can be established, the quantitative understandings of different urban-industrial land use can be realized. In cognizance of different situation in industrial enterprises in Jintan city, this research explores the ways of intensive utilization of urban industrial land in order to offer some policy reference to other regions in China.This paper includes five chapters. Chapter One puts forward the concerning problem, expatiate the background,purpose and meaning of the research, the present situation of intensive utilization of industrial land at home and abroad, presents the methods and contents of the research and the technical line. Chapter Tow Defines the basic concept, expatiate the basic theory of intensive utilization of industrial land, introduce the location theory, decreasing land return theory, systematic theory and sustainable development theory in detail. Chapter Three Expatiate the meaning and features of PSR model, the mechanism of intensive industrial land utilization from three factors which are pressure, status and response. Referring to current intensive urban industrial utilization index system, according to sustainable development, on the basic of PSR model, intensive industrial utilization index system suitable for county is established in Chapter three. At the same time this paper gives index weight and the way how it can be measured, and the result of the evaluation is divided into five ranks according to the situation of the intensive industrial land utilization. Chapter four is empirical research. It mainly describes natural and geographical conditions, economic condition, the condition of industrial enterprises and each county in research region. On basis of the intensive county industrial utilization index system and its rank criterion, the correlation and coordination of the result of the evaluation is analysed, the intensive level of county industrial land utilization is measured. Chapter five summarizes the main conclusion, gives policy suggestion, meanwhile points out the potential innovations and the need for further research.
