The arrival of the21st century, Chinese enterprises are also facing unprecedentedchallenges, a prerequisite of business success is to deal with the challenges, there is a clearstrategy and effective implementation. However, how can effective implement corporatestrategy is a serious problem that bothers Chinese enterprise managers and leaders. Scientificmanagement methods will help enterprises maintain a leading position in the fiercecompetition and severe test. Since the advent of Kaplan and David Norton’s BalancedScorecard, it became a powerful tool for implement enterprise strategic objectives andperformance management. Although many Chinese enterprises have been or are to use thebalanced scorecard of the performance appraisal tool, many Chinese enterprises lack ofunderstanding of performance appraisal and the Balanced Scorecard, management level islimited, ineffective implementation, etc. lead to the balanced scorecard implementation isineffective. The one hand, this paper aims to systematically expounded the theory ofknowledge of the Balanced Scorecard, on the other hand, in-depth study how to effectivelyuse the Balanced Scorecard thinking of ways to build a strategy-led, comprehensive balance,combined with short-and long-term systemic corporate performance appraisal systems. Basedon the Balanced Scorecard implementation in Company X in the performance managementprocess research aims to investigate how the Balanced Scorecard strategic management toolused to re-combing of the company’s performance management theories and methods.Balanced Scorecard and performance appraisal theory, this paper first analyzed toidentify the advantages and disadvantages of complementarily between the different methods,then the Balanced Scorecard system, combined with key performance indicators, targetmanagement and other principles to build a strategic-oriented systemic corporate performanceappraisal system. On this basis, in the X practice to import the Balanced Scorecard-basedperformance appraisal system, site design and test operations based on the import process andorganization of the corporate performance appraisal system in the Balanced Scorecardimplementation, and its period of time tracking and improvement.
