Recreational fishery is a new-style industry, its rise and development meetthe strategic demand of the structural adjustment and sustainable developmentin piscatorial industry, as it is combined with leisure, entertainment, tourism,restaurant, it becomes more benefit of society, ecology and economy of fisheryhave been achieved, which is very important for the district’economy and peace.In recent years recreational fishery in Yantai City explands rapidly----therelative companies grows up to33, forming a pattern in which fishing, fishingleisure, breeding and appreciating, featured food and beverage developmutually, promotes the transportation, resturant, seafood sales and many otherindustries, evolving the industry chain of the" cruise", annual benefit amountsto7million yuan, and achieves great economic, social, ecological benefit.The second part of this article mainly analyzes the theories related torecreational fishery, involving theory of leisure, leisure city theory,regional tourism system theory and the theory of recreational fishery.Recreational fishery development relates to leisure, inevitably it associatswith tourism, therefore theory of leisure and leisure tourism theory are usedto form a basic train of thought in this article.
