The labor relation is the socio-economic interest relation forged between workers andlabor users in the realization of the labor process. The harmony of the labor relationnot only affects the realization of the interest goals of enterprises and workers but alsorelates to the development and stability of the whole country. At present, China is in aperiod of economic transformation. On the one hand, due to that the market hasexpanded increasingly, the economic has developed greatly and the industry hasupgraded, the various kinds of enterprises are facing the strategic opportunities for theinnovation of development patterns. On the other hand, there are a number ofquestions which result in the unstable factors in the labor relation, such as a hugechange in the mode of production and enterprises’ management mode, thecontradiction between the surplus of the general labor and the lack of high-qualitytalents, the variety of new forms of employment. The number of the unstable factorsis increasing. Therefore, it is a quite urgent task for building a socialist harmonioussociety to explore the adjustment mechanism of labor relations under the newsituation and to implement a series of targeted measures.This paper would mainly research on the adjustment mechanism of the labor relationin the situation of China’s economic transformation. It would analyze the currentcondition and the problems of China’s labor relation by the literature and comparativeanalysis, and then come out the necessary and the urgency to establish and improvethe adjustment mechanism of labor relations. By drawing on theories and successfulexperience of the three different models of the developed capitalist countries(Germany, Japan and the United States) in the adjustment of labor relations, the paperwould provide a reference for our government to regulate labor relations in order to make clear the objectives in the adjustment of labor relations in the period of China’seconomic transformation and the adjustment mechanism. It would put forward anumber of suggestions in the aspects of Employment mechanism, the construction ofthe security system, the trade union, legal system, the construction of moralresponsibility, which would help the government to adjust the labor relation, keep thesociety stable and promote the social development.
