The northwest in geography is so particular because of its unique geomorphological features, location characteristics and the characteristics. This article will talk about the northwest in geography and economics. The regional economy is interdisciplinary in regionaleconomics and economic geography. In recent years, regional economic development is compelling. Pure geography on Northwest and Northwest regionaleconomic sense, it is clear there is a difference, the range includes different.This paper attempts to explore the formation process of the Northwest economic region, and sketched out the Northwest economic region track. In this study,I will summarize the Experiences from the formation and development of the economic zones,and provide a reference for today’s economic zone. The exposition of this paper is more focused on modern economic development of the region.Studing the development of today’s economic zones,so as to provide a historical reference.This paper is divided into introduction, main body(5Chapters) and the conclusion of seven parts.Now,I will discuss as follow:The first part is the introduction, this section provides a brief description of the topics previously and the significance of the topic, and academic history review, a brief description of the research method and path.The second part is the first chapter of the main body.This part will talk about the formation and the distribution of economic regions in Northwest before the modern times.Before the modern times, the economic regions expressed as the agriculture and animal husbandry areas. Therefore, to some extent, the agriculture and animal husbandry areas can refer to economic regions. Learn from the method of Tian Shu-seventh of the Northwest,I will do a brief analysis of the formation and distribution of the economic zone of each era.The third part of the main body is the modern Northwest economic planning. In modern times, the economic development of the region is gradually emerging out of the plan features. From Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s "Industrial Plan" Northwest climax to the development of the KMT period, and then after the founding of the "First Five Plan" and "three-line construction, the Northwest’s economic construction, advances along the path of economic planning, and finall established the economic base.Part IV, Chapter III of the body, the formation of the West Longhailanxin line economic zone and development. This was a crucial part in the forming of Northwest economic region,and it play ed a connecting role. This economic zone is the result of the development of economic planning and the basis for the development of the future Northwest Economic Zone.The fifth part, the fourth chapter of the body, the formation and development of Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone.Since the ancient times, Guanzhong and Tianshui contacted extremely close, naturally it is an economic zone. The development plan of this area was promulgated by the State Council promulgated in2009. This economic zone is taking shape and it is one of the11key economic zones of the largest western development.lt will develop into an economic zone of the country’s major economic impact. Xi’an, the region is one of the three countries to identify international metropolis.Part VI, the fifth chapter of the main body, the premise and prospects of regional economic integration.This chapter looks at the context of regional economic integration, the premise of the Northwest Regional Economic Integration, as well as the difficulties faced. Based on the existing six key economic areas,we will try to promote the formation and development of regional economic integration.Part VII, that is the conclusion. The formation and development of the Northwest economic region is a historical process. Through the exposition of the economic area of the entire period, I sum up the experiences and lessons of the economic and regional development, and provide a reference for today’s economic zone.The formation and development of the economic region was affected by the significant impact of national policies.
