The Study On The Interaction Between The Urbanization And The Industrial Structure In Harbin City

Many practice of urban and industrial development of domestic and foreign countriesshows that urbanization and industrial structure is important to the regional development, lackof one of which will be bad to the regional development. Urbanization and industrial structurehave interaction and the importance of the interaction is found as evidence by the practice ofStates. In the context of the rapid development of the global economy, the best response torespond to the global crisis is to accelerate an important way to adjust the industrial structureand to promote urbanization steadily and orderly, which can also be good to the economic andsocial development of Harbin City. Urbanization and industrial structure is the importantcontext in the central and local government meeting, but also the important issues facing thelocal and national development. To identify the interaction law can provide the advice in thehealthy development of Harbin City by studying the industrial structure adjustment,urbanization of Harbin City and interaction between them.In this paper, statistics analysis, econometrics analysis, literature summarized analysis,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are used in the in-depth study on the interactionbetween urbanization and industry industrial structure in Harbin City.Firstly, the paper discuss the points of domestic and foreign scholars betweenurbanization and industrial structure and has a review of the correlation between them,including the interaction mechanism, timing corresponding relationship of the sort. Then itelaborated the concept of urbanization and industrial structure, the evolution law about them,and analysis the mechanism of the interaction between urbanization and industrial structure.Followed, on the basis of study of urbanization and industrial structure of many scholars,combined with the possibility of Harbin data collected, the paper selected the indicators andanalyzed urbanization level using principal component analysis with the SPSS software andworked out the hierarchy of Harbin industrial structure level. Meantime, it discussed thestatus of the industrial structure and urbanization and gave a brief assessment on theurbanization index and industrial structure level index.Again, on the base of interaction mechanism between urbanization and industialstructure, with stationary and cointegraton test, there is only one cointegration relationshipbetween city index and industrial structure level coefficient; VEC model is establiashed and then Granger causality test, impulse response and variance decomposition is analysized tofuther study the dynamic relationship between them. In conclusion, they have differentreacted speeds, poor memory, deferred and unbalanced effect, and they do not coordinate, theurbanization level lagged to hinder the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.Finally, for the problem of urbanization and induetrial structure in Harbin city, as well asthe characters of the interaction mechanism between them,some measures must be taken fromthree aspects, including policy, city, and industrial structure so that to make both mutualpromotion and common development.
