Knowledge workers management innovation in high-tech enterprises is to promotethe innovation of the thoughts, methods and systems of knowledge workersmanagement from the perspective of the high-tech enterprises’ characteristics,combined with the knowledge worker’s characteristics in demands, behaviors,abilities, and work. Knowledge workers management innovation is such measuresand processes that are aimed to help high-tech enterprises to recruit knowledgeworkers more quickly and more accurately, to exploit knowledge workers’ potentialability more deeply, to motivate their passion towards their work, team andorganization more efficiently, to improve their involvement to work, and finally toenhance organizational performance.In the economic society, the status of knowledge as an important capital to createwealth has become more prominent. But how can we manage those knowledgeworkers that manage the accumulation, sharing, application and creation ofknowledge? How can we meet the diverse needs of knowledge workers? How can wedevelop the potential creativity and improve the weak points of knowledge workers?And how can we motivate knowledge workers to improve their performance or toimprove their satisfaction and work involvement through work design? For high-techenterprises, to solve those problems is the key to improve their innovative capabilitiesof and to maintain their sustainable competitive advantages.In this study, the starting point is to explore “innovation” of knowledge workers“management” theory, including the thoughts, methods and systems of management.Based on a summary of six months’ practical work experience in LT Greater Chinacompany, through case studies and empirical research methods, we have analyzed theknowledge workers management status and problems in LT Company, and haveidentified both the advantages and disadvantages in its knowledge workersmanagement activities. Based on this, we have explored and constructed the high-techenterprises’ knowledge workers management innovation model. The model is consisted of three layers of guiding ideology, management method and systemprotection. And each layer is studied from perspectives of the following three theories,which are marketing recruitment theory, the staff-led development theory and newmotivation theory based on work features. Compared with previous research, themodel has been further enriched in the theories of knowledge workers recruitment,development and motivation. Further more, the model has provided the high-techenterprises with a more systematic and more operational innovation model ofknowledge workers management.
