The Study Of Company U’s Growth And Financing Strategy

The thesis made the Company U which was founded by the author3years ago the target of the study,trying to devise reasonable strategies forCompany U’s development and financing.The study is based on theEnterprise Growth Theory,integrating many other theories and analysis tools.The thesis started with the extraction of the Enterprise Growth Theoryand the theory of financing and the introduction of some tools model likePEST analysis, Five-Forces analysis,SWOT analysis,QSPM analysis,etc.Then,the thesis concentrates on the two main development predicamentsfacing Company U: The deficiencies of main strategic focus and fund.Byusing some related analysis tools,the thesis tried to find solutions for the twoproblems based on the Enterprise Growth Theory.First,some related analysistools were used to make a dissection on the enterprise’s internal and externalenvironments in depth, in the purpose of assessing the opportunities,threats,the superiority and weakness,about Company U in its development,movingforward to working out some possible strategic programmes for theenterprise’s development.Then quantitative strategy planning matrix andenterprise strategy resource budget figure were applied to evaluating andrating them to construct positive concentric diversification strategies andimplementation programs. In addition,by analyzing Company U’s financingneeds, the available financing channels,actual financial data,and predictingthe cash flow in the years to come, Company U’s financing needs werecalculated.Furthermore, combined with Company U’s fund using plan, thefinancing strategy that risky ventures for seeking-survival period andfinancing by listing for high-speed development period had been formulated.The study,based on the theory of firm growth,integrating many othertheories and analysis tools has explored the development strategy and financing strategy for a new environmental company.The author believes thatthe research process and result can be used for reference by researchers whoconcern similar topic and new entrepreneurs.
