With the drastic competition on the market and the project-oriented method used onmore tasks in the companies, the multi-project management technology has been used onmore and more R&D projects. The company is facing huge challenge to run so manyprojects with limited internal resources and dynamic external conditions. In theinnovation-based and new-product-development-based companies, the knowledge,procedure, working method, standard, system and even the culture have been become apart of the key capability of the companies. Based on the research of R&D multi-projectmanagement from experts and scholars at home and abroad, this thesis focuses on theanalysis and research of current status and effects of R&D multi-project managementunder cross-cultural conditions in Sagemcom.There are three sections in this thesis: introduction, main body and conclusions. Thisthesis mainly includes5chapters. Chapter1: to introduce the research background,research achievements on multi-project management at home and abroad, the purpose ofthis thesis. Chapter2: to describe the company background, organization structure,development process and project management in Sagemcom. Chapter3: to analyze andstudy the problems in organization structure, resources allocation, communications andrisk management in Sagemcom R&D dept. Chapter4: to analyze the causes for theproblems mentioned in last chapter, then to provide the improvement proposals, oroptimization solutions, especially the implementation methods. It is to give some ideas todomestic companies, who are going to set up R&D branches abroad. At last, to conclude,and to indicate the deficiencies and next step of the research.
