| Since2005, China have developed a new special supervised zone called FreeTrade Port, including Dalian, Shanghai, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Qingdao etc, around14free trade ports, all these ports are endeavored to explore new policies and operationmode under the special policies of Free Trade Port, and is growing fast during theseyears development. A Free Trade Port in Shenzhen, as long as the cooperation zonewith neighbor area set up, is possible to become one of the most successful logisticsareas, extending its logistics services to Hongkong, Macau, Southeast Asia, etc. Withregarding to the food logistics esp. frozen meat, poultry, seafood, redwine, and othertemperature-controlled cargo import and export via China ports, the large-scale coldstorage nearby port and special operation mode will be much more important.Therefore, considering the fast growing of food consumption market in recentyears in China, and more and more serious supervision policy in China, the coldchain will be highly-developed in the future5-10years. The cold chain service in AFree trade port in Shenzhen will solve the cold chain business leakage during cargoarrival and stay in the port. This thesis discussed comprehensively the policies,functions, and locations about the free trade port in China. Besides, it combined theregulations on food safety in China and the market request, and aimed to do afeasibility research of the cold storage building in A free trade port. The main parts ofthis thesis include the current situations of cold chain in China, functions of free tradeport, the operation mode of cold chain in free trade port, building plan, and future business development, etc.In addition to above issues, the thesis paid emphasis on the cross-borderoperation mode, and brought up some suggestions about the cross-border foodlogistics development, to attract the attention of the logistics industry. It may help topromote other cross-border logistics cooperation and the facilities construction. |
