The Application Of Quality Tools In The Passat New Model Project Management

The three factors of project management are quality，time and cost. Quality is themost important one in new product development project of Automobile. It’s the core andkey point of project management.Project quality management ensures that the project can be completed according todesigner’s idea，it includes all functional activities that can be implement according tooriginal target. Quality management is base on the quality assurance system consisting ofquality plan，quality control，quality assurance and quality improvement. Project qualitymanagement on project management theory and include plan, organize, coordinate andcontrol from the beginning to the end of the whole process.In order to overcome the shortage of current project quality management methods，base on the analysis of project management process， three quality tools are introduced toproject. They are quality function development(QFD)，advanced production qualityplan(APQP)，milestone review and FMEA.The scope of this paper is not include all of the project quality management. Ofcourse，other points are important too，such as operation quality control，quality costanalysis，etc. Other quality tools could also handle these problems. During the researchprocess，it have been also found that project management method have been used inquality management too. Therefore in the future the two function domains go into eachother， and learn from other’s strong points to offset one’s weakness. It’s not restrictedonly for these two domains，but also others，such as human resource，purchasing，andthe methods of them could also be used in project management and vice versa.
