Study On The Design And Implementation Of A New Type Of Grain Depot In The China Merchants Port Service (ShenZhen) Co. Ltd

In this thesis, the general information of China Merchants Port Service (Shenzhen)Co., Ltd., one of the western ports in Shenzhen, is firstly introduced. The influencesof the sustained development of overseas trades and the constant growth of bulk portcargo-handling capacity on the port bulk cargo business under the special background of adapting to surrounding development planning and business adjustmentare analyzed. What’s the influence to the port bulk cargo business? It is clarified thatenhancing the handling capacity of the grain depot is the key points and direction ofstorage resources adjustment, based on the tightening space resources of the portcompany in recent years. According to the characteristics of grain depot structure,the handling techniques and handling capacity of different grain depot, thereby adesign plan of a new type of grain depot is proposed. Comparison study theory andmethod are used to analyze and judge the current situation and room fordevelopment, taking into consideration of the bulk cargo business developmentdirection of the port enterprise, and to explore the way of improving the handlingcapacityIn this thesis, the methods of combining theory with practice and combiningquantitative analysis with qualitative analysis are adopted for study, based onexisting research findings on how to enhance the handling ability of grain depotThrough collecting the professional suggestions (including civil, steel structure, mechanical) on the grain depot project plan, in combination with expert consultationas well as literature searching and reviewing, an overall qualitative evaluation of theconstruction and the matched resources integration of the new warehouse is given,and the current situations of the grain depot in our country are horizontally compared.Through handling capacity computation and economic efficiency analysis, incombination with the preliminary implementation effect, the superiorities of this newgrain depot over traditional ones are summarized, and the conclusion that the newgrain depot deserves wide spreading is drawn.
