With the trend of globalization of the world trade, China’s economy is changingtremendously. More and more multinational companies (MNCs) are investing inChina. It’s a big challenge for MNCs to hire the suitable talent in China. In this thesis,through the study to the famous MNCs such as P&G, HP and Caterpillar, we can findthe same factors that ensure the successful staffing of talent in China for the MNCs.The factors include company’s well designed recruitment process and control andcompany’s competency such as company culture.The placement of suitable staff is nota completed successful recruitment. Sometimes, the new employee may leave thecompany within probation for some certain reason. So it becomes a new challenge forthe MNCs to retain the newly hired for a long term employment. Following a soundHR recruitment procedures and building up an attractive company culture are themost effective ways to ensure the successful recruitment for MNCs. Of course,Chinese local enterprises can draw some experience for the MNC’s good conducts oftalent recruitment. It would obtain the sufficient human resources if the Chinese localcompanies can follow the procedures conducted by MNCs. Obviously, sufficienttalents are the fundamental guarantee for Chinese enterprises upgrading form Made inChina to Design in China.The research will focus on the aspects such as job analysis, interviewing, jobqualification, selection decision and company culture, etc. For example, job analysisis an essential work not only to the recruitment but also to a whole HR managementsystem. Here you can find some approaches to make a good job analysis.At the final stage, sometimes the managers may make wrong decision to hire anunsuitable person for some certain position. The wrong decision usually causes verynegative effect on both the company and the applicants. Here you can find thescientific techniques to help you avoid the wrong decision. In addition, there specificexamples demonstrate good conducts of sound recruitment system as well as theexcellent company culture. They are HP, P&G and Caterpillar. The perfect recruitmentsystem and excellent company culture are also the reason that make them build to last.
