Energy not only has an important role to play in economic growth and socialdevelopment, but also in the constructing of resource-economized. Therefore, almost everycountry in the world has given high priority to the energy issues. For a long time,manufacturing industry is the main factor of supporting and promoting our country’seconomy increase. Especially in recent years, its contribution to economic growth issomewhere above40%. But manufacturing energy consuption is a pattern of “high input,high consumpiton, high emission and low efficency.” In the year2000-2008, themanufacturing energy consumption accounts for more than half of the total consumption.Recently, the share between manufacturing energy consumption in Inner Mongolia andtotal consumption is50%on average and is likely to continue to rise.Based on the study of current energy consumption, this paper analyzes the theory,thestructure, and also finds out its characteristics, especially the energy consumption in themanufacturing industry. Futhermore, taking the energy consumption in Inner MongoliaManufacturing Industry as the research object, starting from the correlation betweenenergy consumption and environmental quality and econimic growth, the writer forecaststhe energy consumption tendency in Manufacturing Industy, and eventually build therelated model.Firstly, the paper states the current situation of energy consumption both in ourcountry and Innor Mongolia, and analyzes the energy consumption patterns inmanufacturing industry with Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis. Besides, the problemsthat should be paid atterntion to are also pointed out. Secondly, with the Grey correlativeanalysis of manufacturing energy consumption in Innor Mongolia to environmental qualityand econimic growth, their association degree decreases in the sequene of solid waste,exhaust emission and wastewater discharge;And also the association between the amountof energy consumption and enterprices GDP in Innor Mongolia decreases in the sequenceof natural gas, coke, coal, electricity, crude oil, lamp oil, gasoline and fuel oil consumption.Finally, the writer combines Time series, Regression mode and Grey correlative analysis,and compares each of the forecasting models, finally she induces the best prediction modelof manufacturing energy consumption in Innor Mongalia.Based On the conclusion mentioned above, the writer provides some suggestions onoptimization and adjustment of manufacturing industry structure. Also it is proposed thatwe should speed up eliminating backward production capacity, and rationly develop theclean energy, such as wind and solar energy. Moreover, it is advised that we shouldvigorously develop circular economy.
