With the continuous development of society, the frequency and scale of emergencies areincreased, and regular emergencies could be evolved into unconventional emergencies whichharm to social stability and people’s life because of the relevance between socialorganizations. In such case, the fast response to the market and people’s demand need notonly the coordination of supply chain, but also the participation of government. So theresearch on supply chain coordination in unconventional emergencies based on governmentprice intervention is of great practical significance.Beginning with the base theory of unconventional emergencies and emergencymanagement, this thesis introduced the concepts, classification and characteristics ofunconventional emergencies and the concepts of supply chain contracts, and reviewed theliteratures of government price intervention policy; Then, this thesis discussed how thesupply chain which consists one supplier and one retailer reacted to the demand disruption toachieve supply chain coordination with the right coordination contract parameter, thenexpanded the study to the two-level supply with one supplier and two competing retailers.Meanwhile, this thesis compared the supply chain profits and the government costs underthe following three conditions: no government intervention、the government set price limitsand gives subsidy to the retailer、the subsidy was given to customers, the results providedscientific proof for both the government and the supply chain. The research results showedthat the production cost、market scale、government price intervention、government subsidyaffected the optimal quantity、retailer price and profits of the supply chain. In the end, thisthesis used sensitivity analysis to find out how different parameters would impact on theoptimal results.
