Characteristics And Utilization Status Evaluation Of Gold And Sliver Resources In Liaoning Province

Mineral resources are important material bases for national economic construction and development, gold and silver resources have great significance to economic and social development. Liaoning province has rich reserves in gold and silver mineral resources, which have a comparative advantage in China. However, with the development of industry, gold and silver resources can hardly meet the needs of economic development. Therefore, deep analyses of the resource characteristics, comprehensive evaluation of resource utilization are meaningful to the macro-control policies, resource planning, and security of resources supply.This paper analyzed the data of198gold and silver mine in Liaoning province, and studied the genetic characteristics, scale characteristics and distribution of the gold and silver mineral resources in Liaoning province. Using mathematical statistical methods, distribution characteristics, changes to recoverable deposits and geographic concentration of gold, silver reserves in Liaoning province from2004to2008are characterized. Based on the results, the gold and silver resources in Liaoning are divided into four distribution areas (Eastern, Western, Southern, Northern). The paper also analyzed the supply capacity of gold and silver mine in Liaoning province under the level of current mining and mineral processing technology. On this basis, the proportion of gold and silver resources was obtained through comparing with other domestic gold and silver mines.According to gold and silver mineral resources of the characteristics and resources status in Liaoning Province, utilization of gold and silver mineral resources from four gold and silver mineral resources distributed in Liaoning province were compared and evaluaed by the multiple attribute comprehensive evaluation method, and the conclusions are as follows: Western has the highest comprehensive evaluation value, Eastern, Southern come second, and the Northern lowest;10large, medium and small-scale gold mine of Liaoning Province were selected for comparative analysis of the utilization by multiple attribute comprehensive evaluation method based on information entropy principle. It can be conclude that the first small-scale gold mining has the highest utilization evaluation value, followed by the fifth big-scale gold mining,and the tenth small-scale gold mining the lowest.By analyzing the resources characteristics and the exploration, development and utilization status of gold and silver resources in Liaoning province, some suggestions were given on the sustainable development of gold and silver mine in Liaoning province. Fist of all, strengthen the research of unknown genesis deposit; find out the reasons for unutilized resources so as to guide the development and utilization; since the mineral processing capacity are greater than mineral mining capacity in Liaoning province, it is not appropriate to expand the investment on mineral processing, but to focus on the improvement of technical level, expand the scale of mining appropriately,and, improve the level of mining technology,so as to make mining and mineral processing capacity coordinate; increase investment and establish mining, processing and smelting based in West District, and gradually form a gold and silver mining development advantages Industrial Park; Eastern and Southern Districts should not invest too much but to promote the utilization level through the integration of scientific and technological resources; the North District to be explored together with he Western District.
