The Research On Industrial Structure Optimization Of Jinan Metropolitan

Economic development must be accompanied by the formation and evolution ofindustrial structure. At present, Jinan metropolitan area is in the stage of rapid economicgrowth, whether the industry structure is reasonable and whether the evolution can realizethe goal of optimizing industrial structure, it has a large impact on the health andsustainable economic development of the metropolitan area. Since reform and opening-upof China, although the industrial structure of Jinan metropolitan area is being adjusted, itstill exists many problems, such as the convergence and low level of industrial structure,the weak ability of concentration and radiation of the central city. By the adjustment andoptimization of industrial structure to realize Jinan metropolitan area’s rapid andsustainable economic development becomes an urgent task in the current. Applying sometheory about industrial economics and regional economics, this paper studies the industrialstructure of Jinan metropolitan area deeply.First, the dissertation summarizes the present condition of some research on industrialstructure at home and abroad. It also presents the concept of metropolitan area andindustrial structure and the general rule of evolution. Second, through studying the presentcondition of Jinan metropolitan area’s industry, it points out some main problems existingin industry. Third, according to the changes of tertiary industries’ output, this paper dividesthe evolution of Jinan metropolitan area’s industrial structure into different stages. And italso analyses the amount of labor changes in tertiary industries. Fourth, it anatomizes thecommon influencing factors of industrial structure and sets up a multiple linear regressionto reflect the different influence that the factors bring to evolution. Finally, according to thegoal of industrial structure’s optimization, it points out some countermeasures andsuggestions to optimize Jinan metropolitan area’s industrial structure.
