Research On Evaluations Of Regional Industrial Competitiveness

With China’s accession to the world trade organization, many industries are constantly fusioned to the international. In the process, we are absorbing foreign advanced knowledge, at the same time, we are facing enormous challenge and competition. In the times of opportunities and challenges combined, how to find their own advantage industry and expand become the important issues of each district government will faced. The history of the economic development and also proved that, an area wants to develop continuously, the key problem is to find their own advantage industry in the competition process of region and region, then upgrade its industrial competitiveness, so as to promote the industry and area to a higher level of development.From our country industrial structure situation, in recent years, the proportion of three industries all shows ascendant trend in each region. But for the most of regions, the second industry still take the largest proportion. The industry, which is the main part of the second industry, plays an important role in promoting the regional economic. In views of this, this article selects the industry as the research object, and then take a variety of statistical methods to research the industry competition ability.Firstly, this paper gives concepts of the competitiveness, industry competitiveness, regional industrial competitiveness and the economic basis of related concepts of them. Then, the paper research from two aspects:in the whole of industry of industry competitive level, focusing on the industry data of30regions except Tibet, selecting the methods of factor analysis and fuzzy pattern recognition to research the ranking of regional industry competitiveness. The results show that:most of the regions in two methods of ranking results are similar, but individual region ranking results differ greatly, therefore, we take the discriminant analysis model to group all regions; in the industrial industry competition ability level, focusing on Hebei province industry38branch of industry data, using the shift-share method and location quotient to study the Hebei Province industrial industry development stituation. Finally, according to the empirical results, the paper points out the existing problems in the process of industry development, and points out some relevant countermeasures of taking Hebei Province as an example, so as to enrich and perfect the industrial competitiveness research.
