Limited resources on Earth in the context of sustainable development ofpopulation, resources and environment, how to make the most reasonable intime and space, the most effective combination or configuration, so that avariety of resources to be fully effective use, taking into account the social,economic and ecological benefits. the rational allocation of land resources,land resources in a reasonable and effective configuration is through the landsuitability evaluation of land use spatial layout optimization. With the socialand economic development, how to optimize land use structure and layout, toimprove land use efficiency as the key issues facing the effective operation ofland resources for sustainable development and socio-economic.In this study, on the basis of systematic analysis of domestic and foreignland suitability evaluation, combined with the actual situation of the study area,to investigate the suitability evaluation of land based on GIS technology andthe mathematical model of combining technology and methods to promoteland-use spatial distribution scientific and exploration to adapt to a certainstudy area land use layout optimization techniques and methods. This studycan be summarized into the following sections:1, On Alashan2011land use data processing and analysis, baseconversion (existing land classification in accordance with the landclassification system converted to class) need to get the basic data needed bythe land suitability evaluation.2, Alashan from2000to2011population statistics, through the use of thenatural growth method, the trend simulation method are two ways to establishthe mathematical model predicted that the Alashan population in2020, andultimately take the two methods predict average determine the predictive valueof Alashan population in2020,2020population projection is148,754people. 3, According to the actual situation of the Alashan, combined withforecast to come to the Alashan population in2020, its area of agricultural landuse potential is calculated for the amount of cultivated land and basic farmlandprotection area was calculated to get the2020minimum amount of cultivatedland and basic farmland protection area, the estimates come to the bottom lineof arable land and basic farmland area respectively22,284and12,925hectaresof potential land for construction estimates, mainly for urban and ruralconstruction land is estimated, the final estimated value of20909.87hectares,as2020the highest value of the urban and rural construction land to urban andrural construction land shall not exceed the predicted values in2020.4, Land suitability evaluation for different land uses, based on GIStechnology, mainly agricultural land suitability evaluation and construction ofland suitability evaluation. First combined using the overlay method, the blockmethod and the dynamic mesh wears, the formation of a new evaluation unit,then the natural factors of land, socio-economic factors and location factors toanalyze and model in the GIS software, and finally the various factorsaccounting for the right to re overlay analysis processing to get the landsuitability evaluation results, ie, I, etc.(Sl): suitable for class, II, etc.(S2):compared with appropriate class, III, etc.(the S3): generally appropriate class,IV, etc.(S4,): not suitable for class.5, According to land suitability evaluation results, the land use potentialcalculation results (22,284hectares of arable land,12,925ha of basic farmlandand urban and rural construction land20909.87hectares layout in the mostappropriate evaluation unit, and ultimately land use spatial layout optimization.This study is the combination of land suitability evaluation and land usepotential is estimated to make land use more proactive on the site layout morerational and scientific, but also for the future development direction for landuse decision-making provides a feasibility programs.
