Study On Rural Aged Pension Solution Of China

Establishment of rural pension insurance system is a critical issue for China, which isone of the largest agriculture countries approaching of aging society. Although some practicalmeasures have been introduced for establishment of the rural pension insurance system, thereare still a long way beyond a stable or perfect system covering the most of the rural aging. Amodern public pension insurance system is taken as a necessary alternative for the traditionalway, which mainly counts on the young fostering the aging. A national rural pensioninsurance system for China will be of great importance to the nation’s stable and harmony.There are no experience that can be referenced for so large a country and so diversity thenational condition. The only way to establish a system suitable for our country is toinvestigate the need of nation and the condition of our country. A practical rural pensioninsurance system should cover the ranges: family provision, the minimum living standardsecurity system, and new aging insurance system for rural residents and the rural agingwelfare.Thesis mainly focuses on the research and development of a practical method for Chinarural pension insurance system, which contains the following three parts:1) Analysis of the current problems and status of China rural pension system and make asummary of the main old-age security way since PRC foundation.2) Main tasks for establishing the rural pension system, especially the government’sresponsibility lacking is discussed and concluded.3) Clarify the government’s main focus and repsibility on rural pension system andintroduce a practical approach via analysis of countermeasure for establishing a ruralpension sysem.
