The L city commercial bank (hereinafter referred to as the L bank) was founded in2007January, is the branches of JS bank. With the rapid development of L bank, in order to further improve market competitiveness, adapt to the new stage and the characteristics of the external situation change, the bank developed " six big development strategy ", the original customer manager performance indicator system has not adapted to the modern banking industry competition and the need of development.Based on the performance indexes and relevant theory, on the banks of the original performance index system is analyzed, and found out the performance indicator system in the existing problems and their causes. According to the characteristics of the industry, the strategic goal of the enterprise on the basis of the analysis, integration of corporate culture, bank customer manager job features, and use the international mature and widely used key performance indicator (KPI) design performance index, try to design a set of scientific and reasonable performance evaluation index system of the design of the customer. Manager performance evaluation index system in accordance with the L bank’s strategic objectives. After the optimization of the performance evaluation index is conducive to the promotion of L bank to improve operating efficiency and the quality of development, improve the level of financial services, improve the incentive mechanism, enhance the integrated competition ability of the business, ensure stable development, achieve the strategic goal, build the first-class modern city commercial bank.
