Research On Evaluation Of Competitiveness Of The Dalian Port And The Tianjin Port

In recent years, the rise of the cruise tourism has become a new highlight of tourism in China. With its strong drive for consuming and regional tourism industry, Cruise industry thus has been forming a new area of tourism economy with its enticing prospect and development with many other industries at the same time. As the important economic center and port city in the North of China, Dalian and Tianjin have unique advantages to develop cruise tourism. On June26,2010Tianjin international cruise homeport has opened and Dalian cruise parent port has constructed, cruise economy will induce extremely far-reaching effect for local and all around cities, but at the same time, there are some factors to constrain the development of cruise economy for both the two cities.This article analyze Dalian and Tianjin cruise economy’s development phase and status in world cruise industry through describing cruise, cruise industry and the cruise economy’s related circum stances, then by cruising three times index smooth law to do related forecast, and analysis their development prospects; then analysis the two ports’ cruise economy by Analytic Hierarchy Process; at last, by consulting some successful experience both at home and abroad, combining the conditions of two ports, I will try to propose the appropriate strategic way for both the two ports to develop their cruise economy, and I hope this way can give some references to the Government, port, investors and related working units, and also this will be the promotion for me.
