The Research On Interaction Relationship Between Industrial Clusters And Urbanization

From the perspectives of the urbanization evaluation process, the urbanizationprocess is actually a process of population concentration and industrial agglomeration.Agglomeration economy is the main driving force of the urban formation and also is themain source to guide the regional economic development and prosperity. As a coastaleconomic province, Shandong Province has been rapidly developed in industrial clusterswhich relay on the superior regional advantages, but its urbanization level is still laggingbehind the industrialization level. Therefore, according to the actual situation inShandong Province, this paper studies how to improve the process of urbanization inShandong Province by the interaction development of industrial clusters and urban. Inthis paper, we select the better industrial cluster in Shandong province as the study object,basing on the theoretical analysis of interactive development mechanism of industrialclusters and urbanization, and from the positive analysis we can find the existence ofinteraction relationship between industrial clusters and urbanization. And this paperbrings forward the ideas and suggestions of promoting the interaction development fromthe current development situation of industrial clusters and urbanization in ShandongProvince.The main innovations of this paper are: firstly, verify the interaction relationshipthat existing between industrial clusters and urban. Using two indicators that are the ratioof the cluster output value to the industrial output value in the cluster area and the ratio ofnon-agricultural population to the total population in the cluster area, select Guangraorubber tire industry cluster for the empirical object, which is well developed in industrycluster in Shandong Province and using the data from1996to2010, using theEngle-Granger method and Granger causality test method to verify the interactionrelationship that existing between industrial clusters and urban; secondly, from the levelsof point, axis and plane, elaborating how to realize the interaction development ofindustrial cluster and urban.Besides, establishing the security system to promote mutual development of industrial cluster and urban.(a). Establishing the centralizedmanagement system of urban and rural residence registration policy that to promote thesurplus rural labor to urban areas;(b).Creating regional innovation system to drive theinteraction development of industrial cluster and urban;(c).Perfecting supporting systemto provide the foundation of industrial cluster and urban interaction.
