In today’s society, with the concept of human-orientated establishing, more andmore enterprises begin to regard the staff as the most important resource of enterprise.On the other hand, the staff also emphasizes the personal development and realizationof the self-value. Traditional job design emphasizes control on staff, not help themgrow up, deviate from the concept of human-orientated. Through the study on eachelement in the job design, the paper puts the concept of human-orientated into the jobdesign system, constructs human-orientated job design by the direction for the staffdevelop, which could help the staff to grow up and develop themselves.Firstly, this paper combing the traditional job design theories and, including themeaning、content and development process of job design, the basic principles of jobdesign and the problems of traditional methods in practice, etc. In addition, the articleintroduces the content and necessary of staff development.Secondly, this paper systematically collates and evaluates the traditional designmethods, according to the different concerns and design objects, the traditional designmethod is divided into two categories of microscopic methods and macro methods.This article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each method, evaluate itsapplicability based on design strategy and employee characteristics.Again, the core of the paper describes the theoretical basis of human-orientatedjob design, mainly includes humanistic psychology, positive psychology,motivator-hygiene theory and personality-job fit theory. The author proposed theconcept of human-orientated job design. Emphasis is, here the human-orientatedmeans the theoretical basis of this method comes mainly from the humanisticpsychology. The biggest innovation of human-orientated job design is that in thebeginning of the job design, enterprises help employees to formulate their personalcareer development plan, then each of the major aspects of job design are based onstaff development plans, and strive to the greatest extent to motivate staff to achievetheir own development and to maximize the individual value. In addition, the articlealso discusses the applicability, application prospects and implementation of Note ofthe human-orientated job design.Finally, this paper summarizes the inadequacies of human-orientated job design,and possible ideas and directions of the future in-depth study.
